Questions People Ask About VP Racing Fuel

Please reach us at byersinhermon@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

VP has produced championship winning products since 1975 and is known as the World Leader in Race Fuel Technology, with over 80 fuel blends and a roster of champions. Credibility matters.

This is the number one question. Riders and drivers regularly question whether race fuel and its higher price is worth it compared to pump gas. The blog post should answer this directly.

Pump gas seems to consistently become worse for small single-cylinder engines and EFI systems, and the fuel additives included for automobiles don't agree well with performance engines. This is a great angle for snowmobilers and powersports riders especially.

When tested on a dyno, VP fuels showed measurable horsepower gains over 91 octane pump gas across multiple blends. People want proof, not promises.

VP makes different fuels to cover the needs of every gearhead — leaded, unleaded, oxygenated, ethanol-free. People don't know where to start.

To get the most out of any VP fuel, retuning the engine to suit is recommended. Worth addressing so people aren't surprised.

Shelf life depends on the product, packaging, and how it's been stored, and drums should always be kept closed with the cap tightly secured. Practical question that comes up a lot.
